The lake Bolmen with its 365 islands is the 10th largest lake of Sweden and well-known for the good water quality and for the good opportunities for fishing. If you are lucky enough, you will fish here pike, pikeperch char or perch. The surrounding consists of fields, meadows and mixed woodland, an excellent mixture for cycling or hiking tours. The next town worth mentioning is Ljungby (20 km away) where you can find all necessary facilities, whether it is a shopping center or a bank. People who like to play golf, will find the next golf course in Lagan, about 30 kilometers away from the holiday home.
